Wilhelmshaven Tattoo Weekend
Port cities and tattoos - they have always belonged together. In the past, seafarers had themselves tattooed in foreign ports and brought home pictures on their skin from distant countries from their long sea voyages, while the local tattoo shops along the North Sea coast supplied sailors from Scandinavia, Great Britain or even America with souvenirs in tattoo form. Today it is the tattoo artists themselves who travel around the world to bring their art to the people.
At the third Wilhelmshaven Tattoo Weekend on October 3rd and 4th, tattoo artists from many countries, but also from the region, will meet to exchange ideas, but above all to give visitors the opportunity to find out the right artist for them among tattoo professionals with various stylistic specializations.
