6. Leeraner Tattoo Weekend

Tattoos and port cities - this has been a perfect match since the navigator and explorer James Cook brought the technique of tattooing to Europe from his voyages in the South Seas in the 18th century. From then on, seafaring and tattooing were closely linked, and it was considered chic among sailors to get tattoos as souvenirs in port cities on their travels around the world.

The selection of tattoo studios used to be clear - each port had a tattoo artist and the selection of available tattoo designs was displayed in template books. Today the range of different styles and motifs is much larger than it used to be and the tattoo novice often has great difficulties in finding their way around the variety of offers and possibilities.

In order to make it easier for those interested in tattoos to enter the world of colorful skin images, the beautiful Ostfriesen Hof Hotel will take place on February 6th - 7th, 2021 The 6th Leeraner Tattoo Weekend takes place: At this trade fair for tattoos, tattoo artists from Germany and abroad present their skills. Visitors have the opportunity to find out more about a wide variety of styles and art movements, to get advice or to get a tattoo on site.

In addition to selected tattooists, the Leeraner Tattoo Weekend also features stands with jewelry, clothing and accessories of all kinds, a varied show program and a tattoo competition round off the event.
